My service contract will expire soon, and my wife and I are shopping around. Using the mediacom website I cannot see bundle prices for current customers, I provide my address, and the next webpage only displays 4 internet speed options to Order and the landline phone; I see no HD TV package prices. What have prices increased to?
Recently a letter was mailed to me that my rate will be increased by $78.90 which results in a monthly service charge of $161.32. Mediacom continues to thank me for my service and loyalty (it's called a contract) and now offers me to continue our household internet/TV bundle service for only $30 more/month, $112.42 is far too much. Monthly utility bills never cost this much so I would like to know what options and bundle prices are available if we choose to continue service. Our tv/video service includes Starz movie channels, if these could be removed to reduce cost then please elaborate. We would appreciate the continued internet and/or video service, without the extremely unnecessary price tag.
