No.  This (like my crappy internet service) is just unacceptable.  A four hour window and he can't hit it.

I was finally contacted at 2:30.  The guy on the phone basically said that he had been watching my internet and the modem hadn't dropped so my internet was fine.  I said while I hadn't had issues since noon, it had not been fixed. He went on to say again that the modem didn't drop.  I said that it might not but I know that something is wrong.  I've been told by the guys on the boards that my signal to noise ratio looks off at times.  I notice when things go wrong instantly because I lose connection to my vpn.  I then check speed test on my personal cpu (not thru the vpn) and it will error out because the upload will not calculate.  He still did not want to send anyone and said he would follow up with me tomorrow.

So around 3:45, I get kicked off my vpn.  My husband gets home at 4 and asks what the two mediacom vans were doing outside.  I have no idea how long they had been there but they never came to the door.  My husband went out to ask them if they knew what was wrong and they said yes but would not tell him what it was.  My husband asked for their managers number and they would not give it.  By 4:30, they were gone never coming inside.  And, our internet has been spotty since.

Nice mediacom.  Nice.

I am showing that the trouble call is listed as cancelled at precall, though there is a maintenance order in for tomorrow to check everything out.  I will see if I can find out any more information and let you know what is going on.

Cancelled because he did not want to come out.  Not cancelled if I had my choice.

No improvement.  They are supposed to call me back again this morning. (Are you showing that in your notes? If not, please let them know that they need to call me)  Three techs were here and worked on it for an hour.  Luckily, they saw exactly what I've been trying to explain so they know I'm not full of crap!  However, after they left yesterday, my internet connections was worse.  Between 10-4, I was maybe online half the time.

Did they leave a cell phone number with you?  I will contact the Tech Ops Supervisor to follow up.
