Hello everyone!  If you are currently experiencing a problem using 3rd party applications such as Netflix through your Tivo guide or if you are receiving a C501 error, have missing applications, blank screens, or missing guide data when attempting to use the Tivo service, please understand that Tivo is aware of the issue and is actively working to correct the problem.   You do not need to take any further action in order to restore these services and features.  We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for being a Mediacom customer.

Email Support / RESOLVED: Email Authentication and Send/Receive Issues

At this time, we have confirmed with our Network Operations team that all underlying issues that have existed across our email servers should be corrected.  Webmail, third-party clients, sending, receiving, authentication: all should be functioning as intended at this time.  If any issues continue, please post in this thread with a brief description of the trouble and we can work with our Tier 2 department to investigate further.  Typically, we will need the email address and password as well, though we can have this password reset to a default while we work.  This can be changed back after.  If this trouble exists in a third-party client, double check that all settings are correct and whether or not the problem extends to webmail.

Cable Support / TiVo Changes to the "Browse TV & Movies Menus

Hello everyone!

TiVo is rolling out some changes to a few of the menus today.  Here is what they have to say:

"TiVo is making some changes  to the “Browse TV & Movies” menu on Friday 10/3.  First, we're adding a new Browse menu called “New & Notable” to the top of the “Browse TV & Movies” menu where all new mixes will begin their run on the box. There will never be more than one screen of mixes in this menu so there’s no danger of something new dropping below the fold. Since this will be the first thing consumers see when they load up the menu, we hope they will  realize that TiVo is  constantly updating these menus with new things for them to explore. As collections age out of new, they’ll be moved down into the regular “Collections” menu where the longer-term and evergreen content will continue to live.
Secondly, we're adding another new Browse menu called “Box Sets”. “Box Sets” makes it easy to record all of the content associated with your favorite franchises with just one click (just like the traditional DVD box sets that consumers are already accustomed to). It also gives us a way to display related content that’s not necessarily visible through regular search. For example, We’ve created a  “Disney Animated Box Set” which displays all of the animated Disney movies. If you want to watch one right now, you can navigate from here to VOD or a 3rd party provider that it’s available from, or you could click the “Record this Collection” option so that if any of the animated Disney movies run on one of the consumers available channels, it’s automatically recorded. Same thing goes for other franchises like “Jack Ryan”, “Hunger Games”, “James Bond” or “Planet of the Apes”. This is something that Operators can highlight for new customers as a way to easily set up future recordings."
